As the Head of Production at Beautiful Destinations, Kate saw so much of the world and helped tell the story of each place.

In April 2018, Kate joined Beautiful Destinations to enhance the brand’s storytelling capabilities, with her background in journalism. Once on board, she recognized the need for a fully robust production team. Kate proposed the plan to build it and made it happen. She hired the company’s first production managers, producers and production assistants to help ensure multiple productions could happen at the same time and the company could deliver complex campaigns to clients.

Kate built efficiencies across multiple countries and clients, overseeing brand campaigns from pre-production through post-production and delivery. In this role, she was most proud of her work for the rebrand and creation of all assets for Jamaica’s tourism campaign, The Heartbeat of The World. Th campaign’s commercial, featured above, aired during halftime of the 2020 Super Bowl in some smaller US markets. Kate also oversaw the productions for the United Stories video campaign for Brand USA; a partnership between Air Canada and Beautiful Destinations to rebuild an entire basketball court in Mumbai; and, a digital video for Minister Rania and Egypt’s Tourism board that received the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s award for Best Travel Video.

When Kate chose to depart and begin freelancing in December of 2019, she had managed crews and productions across 15 countries including the United States, Jamaica, Germany, Dubai, Philippines, Egypt and Africa.
